Does the do-it-yourself credit repair kit from places like office supply stores really works?
I am thinking about cleaning up my credit myself because I have heard that this can really happen . I do not want to pay hundreds to thousands of dollars just for someone else to do this. I saw a do-it- yourself credit repair kit at office depot for like $30.00 and I was hoping to hear mature answers/opinions from people who may have had credit issues and to just see who was able to repair their credit on their own successful without paying big money to these scam artists making big promises. Thanks in advance.

If you do, then follow their directions… do not take short cuts!!! Yes they do work well… but only if you can follow directions… you would be very surprised at how many cannot!
I had very bad credit on my birthday… the next year I bought a brand new truck for my birthday for $1.00 down and 90 days before the first payment, and at a rate below the prime lending… and it was fixed for a 4 year loan… All I needed was a job, so I called the new boss, and he gave the details over the phone to the dealership…
There were very simple things to do, and words to use, as well as a time limit involved… these are things you will learn in your course… and they are worth their weight in gold! When they tell you that the banks do not want you to know what's in there, they are correct!
PS, if you are out to buy a car or truck after, then special order it, and save a few thousand $ in the process!
If you are out to buy land, then invest in a few courses first!
If you are out to get more credit cards, then don't even bother to take the course till after you read "Rich Dad, Poor Dad"!
